I saw that the pilot has closed, no one seems to know why either. What a shame as it’s our local pub….?
Shame all the residents can’t club together and buy it!!!
Apparently opening around 15th December and bought out by a local group that own a couple of other pubs in the area including the ship inn which has an excellent reputation for good beer and good food. something the pilot never managed…not to my knowledge in the past 10 years. Heres hoping its a great success!
We are extremely pleased, excited and relieved to announce that The Pilot Inn will be back open on Friday 16th January at 5pm!!
Bar Snacks will be available for now until we start our menu which is coming very soon!!

Does anyone know why The Pilot has closed? Is it owned by a Brewery, or was it privately owned?

The end is in sight for the new Pilot Inn…phew! We promise it won’t be long and the doors will be back open.
