Back up and running

After a short break from website admin the Sellars Bridge team are back up and posting.  Thanks for all the people who have signed up…..we have 35 registered users, the numbers are steadily increasing.  General site traffic has increased with a record 50 unique visits in one day (excluding search engine website bots).  If you’d like to advertise something or provide general community information please email admin@sellars-bridge.co.uk.

A good ISP for Sellars Bridge

Looking for a good value internet provider then plusnet are pretty reasonable. UK based call centres and powered by BT.  So you get very quick turn around on install and any faults or account questions.  A couple of houses on Sellars Bridge using them already, speeds good also.

Clicking the link below and signing up will also help support this blog by paying referral fees (referral information).

Not a plug in anyway for plusnet or to support Sellars Bridge admins pocket, just a bit of information for residents. Feel free to ignore the link and go direct.

Great value Unlimited Broadband from an award winning provider

Ways to market a website…?

Sellars flyer v2

Marketing on a budget can be a difficult task.  I’ve taken to Google in the search of an automated tool to help me create a flyer for distribution to residents.  I hope this will encourage further sign up and contributions to the site.  Comments from existing users welcome (and encouraged).

Reflections…….

It’s been a few weeks since the launch, we have a steady rate of registration and a few people contributing.  Have you got any thoughts and ideas on information you would like to see on the pages?

A challenge for registered users……”Invite a neighbour” can you help build the community by getting further registrations.  After all, more registrations and contributions will only help build the community.

Check out the existing post on Neighbourhood watch ……is it a good idea???
